Has anyone else applied to Jefferson's FACT program?

Published

I've applied and am curious if anyone else on here is applying for Spring 2011. Good luck!

CPinPhilly: I used academic references but I would look on the website or call the admissions office and ask them about whether or not you can use academic or professional references.

If you are taking any of the pre reqs deff try to get a reference from one of those classes. Otherwise you can use a boss, not co workers tho because it must be professional. I work as a nurse assistant so I used my nurse manager as a reference and that was perfectly fine!

Good luck :)

I just received my admission e-mail!!! I am so happy right now :clown: I cannot wait to work with all of you!!!!!

kdrose1- I couldn't find the FB page, it's under FACT 2011?

Congrats Gianna L !!! :yeah::nurse:

Congrats Gianna L! :yeah:

Congratulations, Gianna!!!

CP: I used one professor from undergrad (I graduated 9 years ago, but attended a tiny college, where I knew all my profs well) and one from a colleague. I think they realize that a lot of applicants have been out of school for quite some time. Good luck!

Congratulations everyone!

I have an interview this week!! Im so nervous... Did she ask basic questions or were there any behavioral type questions?

And what should I wear? Is a skirt and a nice blouse ok, or should I wear a suit?

Thanks everyone. I got ahold of an old professor who is going to do a rec for me!

Congrats Dimples!!!

Niki is actually extremely nice and starts out the interview by asking you if you have any questions for her, so make sure you come prepared with questions about the program, finanical aid, housing, or whatever else you want to ask. Then she goes over the pre reqs you have completed or the ones you still need to complete. Finally she asks you about 5 questions ranging from why you want to be a nurse to why jefferson is a good fit for you. Dont worry tho, the questions are really relaxed, and as nervous as I was going into the interview (and believe me I was!!!) Niki made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The dress is also casual so no suit required! Good luck, you will be fine!!

Schick,

Thank you so much for the info... I feel alot better now.

Those of you that got interviews - how soon after applying did you get your invitation? I'm still waiting on my rec letters, but I have everything else complete.. I'm praying I get them back before the 31st!

CPinPhilly,

It was really a really fast process. A week after they received everything, I got the email about an interview.

Definitely try to get everything in as soon as possible.
