Has anyone else applied to Jefferson's FACT program?

I had submitted all of my stuff by the 12th of september and they emailed me the next week saying I had an interview. From there I kept emailing Nikki about times and dates that I would be available and from there we set up a date. I would definitely check your email or try calling Nikki directly to find out what happened? Maybe you had the wrong email??

They dont mail you anything until you get accepted. And my interview was a thursday, and I got an email the following monday saying I was accepted. The interview was really laid back so dont worry too much about that. I hope you figure out what is going on with your interview.

Thanks so much for the reply. It turns out that it was a problem with the e-mail and my phone number. For whatever reason the two e-mails she sent me I didn't notice or may have deleted by accident, and when she called I never got a missed call or message unless she didn't have my right phone number. But we got it all straightened out when I talked to her today and I set up an interview for next Wednesday. I mean, I'm taking it as a good sign that she still wants me to interview even though I never got back to her, even if it wasn't intentional. If you get an interview is that a good sign of your chances in getting accepted?

Hello! Has anyone else from the second review period heard anything yet? I have a few friends at Jeff and heard that some of their application processing can and will take up until the last minute. I'm just curious how many people have been contacted for interviews, and if you aren't contacted for an interview..do they send you something you haven't been accepted before December 31st? Anyone have any ideas?

I applied for the program and made it to the 2nd round. Niki assigned a "hold for grade" for my application. After I get my grade on DEC 16 for A&P II, I will have the majority 4/7 of the pre-reqs completed. Just want to know if anyone is in the same situation as me? Can someone that's in the program that might have went through a similar situation last year explain to me what that really mean?

I went through the program in 2009. "Hold for grade" means they don't have enough of your prereq grades to make a final decision. Most likely, once they have your Fall 2010 grades, you will get a decision. The prereq grades count heavily in the decision to admit or not. Good luck! And remember, there is a waiting list, too, and some of my classmates got in that way. So don't despair if you get put on a waiting list.

I applied 2nd Round and interviewed on the 28th. I was accepted the 29th! I look forward to meeting everyone

Hi, I am new to the Jefferson 2011 group. I just received an emali from Nikki with an interview date. How nervous should I be? Has anyone received an interview and not been accepted? How long does it take to receive a response (accepted or not)?

Does that mean that I'll most likely be put into the waiting list when I give the counselor my fall grade? Or, there is a chance that I can get a definite acceptance based on the majority of the pre-reqs being completed?

Niki is an awesome interviewer, she really puts you at ease. Have some questions to ask and just be yourself and confident.

I think if you are passionate about it, it will shine through!

I applied back in October and wasn't able to get everything in until Mid November. I was waiting on MAT scores which I did terrible in and thought that would affect my acceptance. Niki emailed me asking for an interview which I just met with her last friday and was accepted on Monday !!! She was so nice and and the interview was so laid back. Just asked questions like what have you been doing ever since you graduated with your BSN and what do you think a nurse's duty is. Just make sure you come in with questions because she goes through that first, you want to show her that you are really interested!! Can't wait to get started May 2011... if there is anyone out there that is accepted already, please let me know. Wouldn't mind knowing a couple people before starting the program... :) and to the rest of you good luck. if you have any questions up until the interview process, i would love to help you out!! This forum actully answered a lot of my questions up til now!!
