Nakita...I had been wondering where you were...
I, too, had been a DON at an assissted living...indeed the staff drove me to quit, as well as some of the ways the admin ran things. Loved the residents...I still miss them!
Good luck on the job hunt...I will pray that you find the one that is a "good fit". I have found mine...Home Health. It's wonderful!
Good luck to all who are hunting...at least we are in a profession that makes it easy to get work!
You will find a job - no problem. Just look for a job that fits your lifestyle. I was very picky when I quit my last job and I was unemployed for 3 weeks! I love the job I have and it works perfectly for me and for my family. In this age we can afford to be picky. Good luck with your job search!
Congratulations and good luck in finding another job. I am so glad that you got out now while you are still well. I stayed in with back problems and kept putting off taking care of me and now I have permanent nerve damage and am now applying for disability benefits because the docs said that I will never be able to work again. I loved nursing but did not use good sense.
