Thanks, all! Don't smack me too hard when I'm a wreck in September and October, waiting for news.
I'll have to change my title from "4'11" redhead" now! LOL. The doc commiserated with me as she wrote "overweight" on my chart -- she had two inches and several pounds on me. Ha ha! Oh well ... I'm pretty close to the max for my height, and I have no doubt I'll get below it by the time I go anywhere.
Yea!! Lunah. Congrats.
Do try not to agonize over it all. Once you are in training, the time slows to a halt. one day lasts forever. We start at 0400 (even though we are supposed to stay in bed until 0430, but who can get ready in 15 minutes?). We have lights out at 2330. We usually are right up to the wire on that mark too.
Okay, now i'm feeling guilty and better get to all my homework!!

I went to Walter Reed with my recruiter today for my physical exam, and it went very well! :) Everyone was very nice. I failed the weigh-in (as expected), but passed the tape test. Bonus: they measured my height at 60"!
I stood very, very straight, and the LPN said I was right at 60". Whew! Gave me an extra 6 lbs to play with. Ha!
In any case, I turned in a whole huge bunch of paperwork to my recruiter, and I think I'm truly in "wait" mode now! She can submit some of my paperwork in July to determine my rank, then it's just the (nail-biting) wait until my packet goes to the Army Nursing Board in October. Woo!
