Hello to everyone,
I decided to start a thread:idea: to find out if there's anyone who's applied or plans to apply to Georgia Stat University's Spring 2011 program. I have already sent out my application package in the middle of August. I know that we won't start hearing anything until October, but I figured it would help reduce the pressure of the wait for us to have discussions about it here.
Hope to hear from GSU applicants soon; and if there are former/current BLSON students on here that can give us some advice and helpful words
it would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!!
GSUhopeful.....I think you are right. My heart stops whenever I hear the squeek of the mailman's brakes. I had statistics class and lab today so that gave me several hours of thinking about only stat. I have a stat test Friday, so that should be a pretty good way of getting my mind off the "mail". Saw a friend that began the ACE program Fall, 2010. We had a chance to chat on the sidewalk this morning in front of the Arena while it was pouring rain. She was telling me about her schedule and how very busy she was......the best part was she is LOVING it! That's what I hope for each of us.....regardless of when or where it happens....that we :redbeathe becoming nurses. Talk to you later......
CONGRATS TO MUSHKA AND MIRASHU!!!!!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: Good job guys! We're proud of you. L0L.
I know we are all nervous but the torture will soon be over. Everyone I know who has gotten in is mostly in the 3.7 range with 90+ on their TEAS. I have a 3.79 and an 87 on my TEAS so hopefully I hear something soon.
@SweetPEI I'm with you! It's sll in God's hands from here! lol The wait will soon be over.
@ GSUhopeful Welcome to the forum! (I know I'm late, lol). Dont worry, your scores look great, they're exactly like mine so I'm on the same boat.
@lcamp99 Dont worry! You're scores look good. Great TEAS score. By the way, did you apply for ACE or traditional?
Hey svictor! I was wondering where you disappeared to...
HaHa. I'm glad you missed me. I've been working a lot lately. I wanna make sure my holiday shopping is great this year! And getting into this program is gonna be the best gift I can ask God for because then I'll be financially stable enough to get gifts for the rest of my life. haha.
I have a question to those of you who have already been accepted. If you don't mind me asking, what is the date they gave you to respond by to accept/decline admission? Just thinking that may shed some light as to when the next round of letters will be sent out. Thanks.
Oh, when I spoke to the department last week they said they're sending more this week and more people should have them by the end of the week. They're not waiting for the first 14 before they send more. That's why some wait-listers have to wait till the end of November because as people decline, they accept more people.
