I decided to start a thread:idea: to find out if there's anyone who's applied or plans to apply to Georgia Stat University's Spring 2011 program. I have already sent out my application package in the middle of August. I know that we won't start hearing anything until October, but I figured it would help reduce the pressure of the wait for us to have discussions about it here.
Hope to hear from GSU applicants soon; and if there are former/current BLSON students on here that can give us some advice and helpful words it would greatly be appreciated.
gsuhopeful....you are right. Regardless of what the letter says, we all must continune to pursue our dream. There may very well be a reason why the acceptance is granted or why a rejection is decided that we are SO-O-O unaware of at the time. God may be protecting or preparing us for something. We have to have faith in whatever happens. I was just reading some inspirational material and it reminded me how faith is key. For those out there who have been accepted, a great big congrats to you. For those who received letters that now is not the time, keep working, dreaming and pursuing. There is a reason. Someday you will be able to look back and have a better idea of what was in the making. HANG IN THERE!!! You can do this!!! We all can. Determination and perseverance are part of the foundation of dreams coming true. God's hand is a work and we have to be willing to keep at it regardless of what happens. He didn't give up on us and we won't give up on what we know is a seed planted by Him.
@lcamp99 I wish I could give your speech 100 kudos! L0L. Beautiful. I couldnt have said it better myself. A rejection letter doesnt mean stop your dream, it just means right now is not the time. And trust me, God knows why, & it always works out in the end! Just have faith guys!!!
I GOT IN TOO, I GOT MY LETTER TODAY!!!!!!!! Im starting ACE in the spring!!!! I've been yelling and praising God all over my house for the past 30 mins. I am so grateful right now!!!! I could not have done this without Him. I'm still in shock. L0L.

Congrats... to you. I have been thanking God all day. All of our hard work has paid off, now it's time for another round of hard work. I am ready for the challenge, and I know you are as well. We can do all things, with Christ who strengthens us. Congrats again, and I look foward to meeting you in the Spring. Now it's party time:yeah:
Yeah, woo-hoo and wishing I could do a cartwheel for each of you who received your letters. So happy for you!!!! I didn't get any mail today......sure hoping my mailman hasn't gone on vacation. :-) SweetPEI, I'm right here with ya!
SweetPEI, lcamp99, and keegan, thank you soooo much guys. You should be getting your letters VERY soon. A new batch goes out every week and by looking at your scores you should be hearing something this week hopefully. they rely heavily on teas scores and since all of you scored in the 80's, you have an excellent chance. I'm still here waiting with you guys, make sure you keep updating!
