GSU Spring 2011 Applicants (BSN)

Published

Hello to everyone,

I decided to start a thread:idea: to find out if there's anyone who's applied or plans to apply to Georgia Stat University's Spring 2011 program. I have already sent out my application package in the middle of August. I know that we won't start hearing anything until October, but I figured it would help reduce the pressure of the wait for us to have discussions about it here.

Hope to hear from GSU applicants soon; and if there are former/current BLSON students :nurse: on here that can give us some advice and helpful words :twocents: it would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!!

Svictor....thank you! The support on this blog says something about the heart of nurses!! "Nada" today in the mail. On to next week. Everyone- have a great week-end. It is glorious outside here in the Atlanta area.

Today I got an acceptance letter in the mail, but there's one big problem. I only applied for the traditional program; the letter in the mail says I was accepted for the accelerated program. I won't even have the classes I need to get into the accelerated program. They made a mistake!!!! AHHHHHH

Now im going to have to findout how tp fix this whole mix up!

cOngratulations Keegan! Im surethey will let you drop to the traditional. When people are struggling in the accelerated they allow them to drop down to the traditional program pace, so hopefully they should be able to allow you to do it, especially since that's what you applied for

:yeah:

Congratulations Keegan5858!!! So happy for you and I bet the school will work with you about getting the kinks worked out. :yelclap::yelclap::yelclap::yelclap:

CONGRATS!!!!! I knew you'd make it! :yeah:Also, when you apply for Traditional and you have really good grades, they automatically put you in ACE, you just have to say you'd rather traditional, they'll easily switch it. No worries dude!

Just a random thought. Is it possible that only the accelerated letters have been sent out? Has anyone applying for the traditional program received a letter yet???

I had not thought of that. Thanks for bringing it up. Ideas anyone??

I went to the nursing office, and they switched me to the traditional.

They have a dry erase board which showed the amount of spots open for applicants. The ace had 14, and the Traditional had 16.
