Well, it's time for another application process. I don't know about y'all but I am ready to start this program! I have been reading these threads and boards for what feels like years trying to do all that I can to get in!! And I have finally reached that time.
I just turned in my application. I hope some of y'all are out there reading this. I would like to know who all is applying this year. I just wish it wouldn't take until JULY to find out if we make it in or not!! I understand why but dang! I don't want to commit to something else and then look like a flake 'when' I get my yes from Grayson!
I just wanted to know where you stood on the points line and how many times you've applied OR if you are currently in the program what kind of advice you can lend and give.
Okay so I found out some good news. I ran into a guy who just finished spring semester and he said that when he got in he only had 24 points and that was before they changed it from 30 to 28. He also said that so many people had already gotten in somewhere else or couldn't pass the background check that all of the alternates got in and he was not an alternate.
But that was spring semester which he said was easier to get in. But still, he got in with 24 points so me thinks things are looking up for all of us.
I will certainly bite one less nail with this info. :)
Loved the end to your post! Lol! I am so stressed and need things to do to keep this off my mind! I am waitlisted for TCU and am constantly looking at the phone waiting for the darn call. I swear I am going to have a hear attack one day. Lol!
Is there a number we can call to get info? Everytime I call I get a voicemail. Or somebody's email. I need to know why I haven't heard anything about the background check.
She has never answered the phone when I have called. But she's really good at returning calls (within a couple hours, unless it's the end of the day) and emails.
How long did it take for most of you to receive your blue card? I did mine a little over a week ago and just wanted to know when I should start worrying.

I haven't received anything about a background check yet either. Did you receive the email in your personal account or the grayson portal?
