  1. Transition LVN to RN letters went out this morning.
  2. Collin letters went out on there 30th... come on Grayson!
  3. I have been following this board for a little while. I never received an email Friday which is weird. When I spoke to Chris she said they weren’t even sending emails out till this week (week of the 17th). Did anyone else receive an email? Just curious if they did traditional students first and LVN bridge’ers will get one today. Good luck to those still waiting to hear something!!!
  4. Oh my goodness... the END of June?!?!?! That doesn't give us much time to plan and save for all the expenses. I just wish they would hurry and decide. Did anyone apply elsewhere and already get their letter? Not to mention, I work in a hospital and we are already self-scheduling out to AUGUST 5! I kind of need to know so I know how to plan my work schedule. LOL:facepalm:

  6. Someone told me you need 22 points to make the cut. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE Congrats!!! I will be declining my acceptance as I already committed to another program. So hopefully someone will get my spot!! xoxo
  7. How long did it take for most of you to receive your blue card? I did mine a little over a week ago and just wanted to know when I should start worrying.
  8. gijenn021487, i am am right there in the same boat with you! I have busted my hump for 4 years (part time) while working and raising a family and to go up against 1,000 other really smart people is hard on your confidence. I don't know about y'all, but after my second rejection I kind of felt like "what's the point!" Lol. Everyone says just retake a class. Well uh some of us can't. Whether it's money or time or sheer stubbornness - (tee-hee-hee)
  9. That's how I understood the email she sent to me
  10. Same here. Applied to Collin for Spring and Fall of 2015 and didn't get in for either term. This is my first time applying to Grayson. If I don't get in, I am applying to an allied health program and then I will just try to gain acceptance through the 'back door'. I've heard it's easier to get into nursing school through hospital mentor programs. All of my science classes will start to expire in 3 years so that doesn't leave a lot of time. I really don't want to retake them if I don't have to.
  11. I emailed her last night and she said she had to resend some names to the BON and would send me my paperwork today - hopefully I will receive the email by tomorrow?
  12. I still haven't received the email regarding fingerprints. When I called up there she said not everyone is being asked and it's not an indication on whether you got in or not- but doesn't it make logical sense that with only a month to get everything done, (after selections are made in July and then orientation and classes start in August) they are contacting the ones who probably got in? I don't know. I'm not going to worry about it.
  13. Congrats! I didn't get my letter but my mail comes around 12.
  14. In my experience, (last application and friend who got her letter last week- and all my other friends who have gotten in) would be to wait until Saturday's for a letter. They usually don't mail anything until Friday afternoon. I have a hunch that they probably won't go out until after Good Friday(because the school is closed) which means we may not see them until Tuesday the 7th if we are lucky. I am hoping I am wrong and they go out this weekend as promised.
