Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.
Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.

Does anyone remember how they formatted their Family Assessment paper for Family Nursing? My instructor is MIA due to a very sick daughter and she hasn't answered my question from 2 days ago. What I am wondering, is did you use subheadings for each of the 11 assessment areas, or did you just write up the assessment in paragraph form? I have to write this tomorrow and I have no idea if/when my instructor will be able to get back to me. If anyone remembers this assignment, I would really appreciate your input.
UPDATE: I did a level 1 heading that says family interview and then did level 2 for the 11 areas. The wellness diagnosis has a level 1 heading and then I broke that down a bit further into level 2 and finally conclusion (centered) :)
That is what I did as well. When you have the rubric sub-headed, they love that. One of tutors said that it helps them to check off the graded items quite quickly.
I should've thought of that, I just started with Introduction (which now I know should not be titled), and I just did level 2 headings allllllll the way down. Started with Family Interview, then Health Perception and Health Managment, etc. Then centered the Conclusion. Your way makes more sense
Isn't it weird that you write these papers, look a them 1,000x, turn them in thinking they're as perfect as they can be, and then when you re-read it you find stuff you see right away that was wrong? Bizarre. Maybe our (my) brains are so fried by TII time I can't even add 2+2 anymore
SO SO true!!! I cannot think of the times I've opened an old paper by accident in PERRLA and so an error immediately!
I hope to have everything completed by Friday, so I only count 5 days.
So far I still have A's in both classes and a reasonable amount of my sanity left. Don't think I will be doubling up again anytime soon, unless it is just 1 week.

Yep, happened all the time. I always saw mistakes after I turned in my papers and that was reading them over a million times before submitting.

Winter - are you finishing up Statistics?
Yes I am, I am about ready to post week 4s assignments then 2 DQs, 3 assignments (1 excel, 2 worksheets), and 8 posts (I'm sure there will be a CAT question) and it is over! I figure out DQ 1, after trying to make it all hard and everything, smh! And then the last dq is the same as the first, I will improve on that answer!
Oh WOW Winter, I have been so out of the loop. You're taking STATs as well? I have a great instructor. PM me. We can be like program buddys or something. It would be cool to help and keep motivating one another during those times of "uncertainty". Hope to hear from you and good luck.

Subheadings...
