Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.

Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.

Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.

You can double them. I was told after you finish your 4th class, don't know if that's changed or not.

I am doubling up right now. After you complete 4 classes with at least a B average, they will allow it. I am finishing my first week and I am not loving the amount of writing that I have to do. But, I feel it is manageable - especially if you are organized and don't procrastinate. I still have one DQ to write that is due TODAY and I have 2 papers (750 -1000 words) due Sunday and I haven't started either one yet. I just can't seem to get motivated unless the clock is ticking. Wish me luck!

Noodles, clear out your pm box. :)

Thanks! I just did.

Ha, noodles, sounds like me! I knew I'd never do well doubling because I am a procrastinator!

I am guilty of procrastinating right now. Instead of writing the 2 papers I have due tomorrow, I am messing around on here! Can anyone please give me some input on the 2 part CLC for Ethics? It is 550 points of the grade. Were your instructors pretty liberal when it came to grading them?

As long as we met the criteria and had our APA in order we were ok. She didn't question or grade down on our stance. The most difficult part was getting one of the members swayed to our side. Three of us agreed and one did not. I know people shouldn't be swayed to see the other side, but in the sake of time, it was imperative that she at least somewhat come to the dark side, lol.

I could never do that. I don't initially write that well. Heck, it takes me a week to edit!
