Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.
Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.
Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.
I totally forgot to add, my very pretty diploma arrived in the mail today, as well as an official transcript.
That is exciting!! What about the wallet sized diploma? Are you going to get it professionally framed? It's great that they give you an official transcript too. Does the diploma have nice purple colors on it? You know I'm partial to purple:smug:
It is liberating to have that threat completely gone!
As for the instructor, you will love her! It's not who Pandora and I originally signed up for. We were told there was another really good professor, however, she did not teach when we needed her, lol. It all worked out well though.

Darn, I didn't get my wallet sized diploma . Oh well, maybe I can take a photocopy and have it shrunk. However, I'm partial to any blinkie lights I can fit around it to really show it off:roflmao:.
It does come with a sticker that says Grand Canyon University Alum and at the bottom says Lope for life.
Frame it? Not sure what I will do with it. It is currently back in the envelope, lol.
Purple: The GCU logo in on the certificate. I think it has some purple?
