Howdy all, I bit the bullet and after much research, I decided on Grand Canyon! Wow, I did not expect BSN schools to be like used car salesmen--hounding me by emails and phone calls. Rather impressed on how Grand Canyon sort of left me alone, but at the same time kept in touch.

Commence my first class Sept 30th, excited, yet very nervous, as I'm not a big fan of school, LOL! I did extremely well on my Associate degree, graduated back in 2009 from Northern Virginia Community College. We shall see.

Would love to hear from past and present Grand Canyon RN to BSN students.

Hey JRich!!

Long time no hear! How is life treating you? You are wrapping up week 4!!!!!!!! How exciting!!!! Have fun putting that monstrosity together. It was more difficult than I thought, just because of the duplication in all the papers.

I just finished the second paper for the week. Disseminating evidence.... I am NOT a fan. I am sure I made that assignment harder than it needed to be. Maybe I just needed a few more freak outs during this whole process. Now to have her grade the papers and start compiling them all together. I am not looking forward to that aspect, but soon I will be able to say I have my BSN.

Holy dickens. Just realized I finished everything for week 4 on a Monday! Go me!! Now I just need to reply to the discussion posts 2 more days, and then get my graded papers back.

Good for you, JRich! Isn't it nice to be ahead? I did the same thing for week 4 and was able to work my butt off over the weekend and submit week 5 by Monday, along with the last of the DQ. I wanted to do cartwheels over the latter. I hated those things, lol.

I think the compiling was made more difficult do to the fact that it's blending and it's easy to duplicate. Control "F" was my friend! Keeping the appendices straight was another mind boggling event. It didn't help that both Pandora and I were brain dead, lol. She, was not a fan of week 5 either.

Isn't this Prof amazing though?

Don't forget to show your work to your leadership folks at work! ;)

She is so amazing!!! I am guessing sometime tomorrow my grades for these 2 assignments will be posted. If not tomorrow Wednesday at the latest. Then I will compile everything. Get the approved signature of a person at work and go from there. I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel

Hi everyone! Here is a question for anyone who is farther along or even done in the program.... When you get a paper assignment and it says "this is a GCU Benchmark assignment", what does that mean?

Sounds familiar. What other words surround it? I'm interested in this answer.

And what will you do with all that time?
