Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Good Evening,
It seems I've read that most begin with Professional Dynamics as the first class's at GCU, but as the classes progress I've noticed that it doesn't appear that everyone follows the same path. I received my enrollment agreement this week and the first classes listed are; Family centered health promotion, Assesments, Concepts in Community...should I anticipate my classes will mirror the order on the enrollment agreement?
Thanks

Not always. Mine changed, but I also doubled up on 2 classes. I hope it all goes well for you!

This sounds strange to me, is Professional Dynamics listed later in your course schedule? Or did you not have to take it based on previous classes you may have done? Having gone through all those classes, they all tend to build on the previous, and it makes sense that PD is #1. If it's not listed (or is listed later), you might ask your advisor what's up?
Murse2013PMI --- How many courses have you been told you need to graduate? Tokmom and I were told 12 classes. However, a friend of mine is only required to take 11. She is exempt from one I had to take. Have you taken something similar to Professional Dynamics in the past? Let us know what happens. You've peaked our curiosity. ;-)
Has anyone had a teacher add CAT's in addition to the DQ's? My patho teacher says that we have to reply to a CAT that she came up with on Wednesdays in addition to our Friday DQ question. The DQ questions are already busy in patho. I don't like that she added her own.
Hi JRich, I had an instructor who added CAT questions in Professional Dynamics. I answered them all four weeks except the last week because I was so tired of them lol. I still received full participation for the last week so I'm not sure if they were included in the grading or not. I wonder if it is the same instructor...

One week from now I will be nearing the beginning of the end of my classes with GCU.of m Let us say a prayer..............
I really, really hope there is guidance in this class. At least this prof is known for being very available. Let's hope that 'nice' is on the list as well.
