Grand Canyon RN-BSN

Published

Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

I look forward to starting RN-BSN june 1st I have to read up on my APA format has anyone here ever used PERRLA program for APA formatting? im just trying to get a head start on everything can any post up an example question that might have been used so I can get an idea?

I havent utilized PERRLA or OWL, however I do like "cite fast". For me once my paper is properly formated I use the same paper again, doing references and citations seem to take a long time and this cite works great. Plus if you have the ISBN, plug in that I for and just like magic... Hope that helps.

I'm just happy it's only taking 13 months to complete my BSN! I complain every time I have to get on the computer to do school work, because I really am over school, but man, come Oct when I am done I'll be so happy! Especially when I see my other cohorts just starting or something!

Thanks for that, I bookmarked it because it looks like a good one. I love internet citation makers. BTW, here's the link to the actual APA (bookmark this), you will use it a billion times, TONS of great info, searchable and up to date: APA Style

I am finding it difficult to be motivated this week. It is my final week of Trends and also Leadership. I do not want to start writing these papers. I do not want to be a manager...

No doubt. I couldn't get out of Leadership fast enough. I have to say though, I'm currently taking Leadership classes at work because they are making me. For some reason I'm thought of as a leader at work . The agenda for the entire 6 month class is all about Leadership, reading and figuring nurse working hours, versus OT, encouraging people to follow you as a leader, etc..

I have to say, this class prepared me fairly well. When the speaker asked a question such as what the difference was between a manger and leader, I knew all the answers, because it was like spending 8 hours in school.:sniff:

Thanks Prism, anything to ease the pain of completing papers is golden with me.

I just finished the last paper for Trends (I did a crappy job, but don't really care) and now the schools website is down. I just wanna hit the submit button and forget about that class. I guess I may as well start on the last paper for Leadership now... This one is going to suck too.

It's the last paper jrich! That's it and then you're done with those classes. Woohoo!
