Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
DISCLAIMER for anyone reading this who has no idea what we are talking about...
In the other thread, around pg 55 or so, we all got kinda stirred up due to another AN'er who seemed to be bashing our beloved GCU... indicating it stunk because it was for-profit, and was convinced GCU was actually located IN the Grand Canyon (state park) because whenever a recruiter/rep from GCU would call his unit the caller ID on the phone said "Grand Canyon". Naturally one would assume that was the location of the call's origination rather than the name of the caller... :grn:
Eventually we stopped trying to convince said-AN'er and just started making our own fun to lighten things up.
So NO, we DON'T think our school is "less-than", GCU has treated us all VERY well, and we're just being silly

Just an interesting tid bit.. A friend applied for a position at the VA. The VA is currently updating their database for potential employees, and culling those from non accredited schools. My friend made the cut and the employer was pleased her school was gcu.
Does anybody know how some students in the LC forums (and instructors) get that permanent "signature" at the bottom of all their posts? I wanna do that.
When you're in the LC classroom, click on your name at the top next to the profile picture. Then click edit under personal information, and add whatever you want to the signature section. Hit save.
