Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
Greetings ya'll,This is week 3 of Comm Health and preparing got some preparation for week 5. I so appreciate all of your ideas and warnings about this class. So much better than the first.
So I have Ethics as my upcoming class, any hints about this class? Instructors to request? Links to help me put with any assignments? Oh, CLC here or not?
Thanks everyone.
Clc in ethics, and you have to all agree on an ethical dilemma. It makes it very interesting. Otherwise it's insightful. I learned something.
Winter...I don't know if I would necessarily think taking Ethics over the Christmas break would be a benefit. It really ALL depends on the CLC group you get though. The 2-part CLC involves alot of communication amongst team members (to agree on the ethical dilemma itself and then to agree on the group's position on what to do about it and then come up with the rationale to support it (and then write the papers). I was unlucky and had a very unresponsive group that a) didn't understand the assignment in that we had to do the above, and b) didn't give their opinions and c) thought I was a freak when I started freaking out about said unresposniveness. So, considering everyone will be "on break", both literally and mentally, those extra 2 weeks won't help if everyone is checked-out. I'd save the 2-week extension for a class that you thought YOU needed extra time to complete YOUR assignments (like maybye Community or Patho or Capstone?) My saving grace in the class was the fact that it was only 5 weeks... But hey, you may get a great group, in reading all these posts all along, it appears I'm the only one so far that has had a disastrous experience :)

You are correct though. People check out and gcu discourages people posting on the forum
