Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?
Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?
I goofed on the submitting more than one thing as well. I emailed the teacher and she reassigned it but it was all late. She'd said since the first one was turned in on time she wouldn't deduct any points. She did anyways!
That is so wrong to deduct points when you clearly attempted to submit on time and instructor acknowledged you wouldn't be penalized.
I was not a fan of stats at all. I spent a LOT of time googling and on youtube to help me understand the language and assignments. I can always BS my way through a paper. You can't BS your way through stats.
I have basically spent my entire day trying to figure out stats and have made little progress.

No way, after she said she wouldn't? How much did she deduct? That's not fair when you made an attempt and it was on time.

Welllll, considering Stats is normally a full semester long (16 wks), and this class is only 5 weeks, AND your first assignment comes from Chapter ELEVEN...... (doesn't anybody think I might need to know what went on in Ch's 1-10?) .... it is definitely hard to grasp for people like me that hadn't seen those squiggly little shapes in years and years and years.
Chin up kwmom, it's a rite of passage (PASS being the operative word there LOL), just do the best you can and remember "it's only 5 weeks". You don't have to rock at it, just pass, and to my knowledge (unless someone is keeping it a secret), none of us on here have failed it.

...and that's exactly why I submitted mine to the color forum, just so she could see that it was truly finished before midnight. My Instr didn't deduct us the points, thank goodness, maybe my absolute hysterical freakout private message to her in the individual forum made a difference? Live & Learn, I s'pose, I'll never do that again!
(p.s., I would imagine she posted her comment somewhere that is viewable for administration to see, plus the fact that you spoke with the IT people (did you get a ticket #?), which is also on record, I'd maybe try to appeal that grade if it was like a 20% deduction or something)

I have passed all my classes thus far with an "A" but honestly if I make it out of stats with the required 76% I will be a happy camper.
