Hi everyone! Is anyone else graduating from their program this December? If so what classes are you taking in your last semester? And have you started to prepare for the NCLEX?
I passed my last final yesterday and will start working in Pediatrics on Jan. 5th. Now I just have to study and hope to pass the NCLEX! Congrats everybody!:yeah:
Hey! Congrats!!! just a question, so are you starting work without passing the NCLEX and getting your license? I guess my question is is it possible to get hired as a New Grad and start working without having sitted for the NCLEX and received the RN license? I'm finishing up my Junior year and I was just wondering...

Yes, you can start working before passing the NCLEX. I live in CA, so it may be different where you live but the BRN sends me an IP license to practice until I sit for the boards. I got hired before even finishing nursing school. Most of the hospitals in my area started interviewing 2-3 weeks before graduation. I start working January 5th, but probably won't take my boards until the end of january.

I also graduated December 11th, I can't believe its over. The hospital that I signed with pays for us to take the Kaplan review class. I start working January 5th.
