Hi everyone! Is anyone else graduating from their program this December? If so what classes are you taking in your last semester? And have you started to prepare for the NCLEX? :D

I am graduating in December..YEAH! :yeah:

I am taking Med-Surg III, Graduate Bridging, and Clinical Elective for a total of 13 credits and I am DONE. :)

I think I already have senoritis and classes haven't even started yet, lol.

I have been doing NCLEX review questions since I started the program and have probably done thousands of questions. Our formal review class comes at the end of the program and we also take the ATI RN comprehensive predictor exam. Once I'm finished with all of that I will most likely work Suzanne's plan from here on allnurses to prepare for NCLEX. I plan to test in early February if I can get the date.

I am

Next semester I'm taking Community Health, Senior nursing theory, community clinical, and my preceptoring. Havent began to prepare for the nclex yet. I"m taking the ATI prep course and it doesnt start until the last 6 weeks of the semester.

Specializes in L/D.

I gradutate in December too. We only have 2 classes in 4th semester...Critical Care and Leadership.

Specializes in Pediatric CVICU.

I too am graduating in december and can't wait!! This semester I'll be taking public health nursing class and clinical, professional issues, high acuity, and my practicum (120 hours with preceptor), so I will be doing 14 hours this semester.

Hi

I'm graduating in December too!!! Yea:yeah:

I have to take Critical Care, Nursing Leadership,Trends and Issues plus clinical hours and a senior project to do:bugeyes:

Go figure when we are suposed to eat, sleep and for those unlucky ones WORK:confused:

Specializes in geriatrics,emergency,hospice.

Im graduating December 22nd :yeah::yeah::yeah:

Im taking Sociology and my preceptor ship which consists of 2 twelve hr shifts per week, then Im done. I also have to pass the exit HESI with a 900 in order to sit for the boards, which Im not too excited about. Ive started studying for the NCLEX with Suzannes's plan. I want to be sure I pass the HESI and the boards on the first try, God willing!!

I graduate in Dec. I have three weeks off before fall classes start, and I'm using a large part of this time to start studying for ATI and NCLEX. Even though I earned an A in Pharm, in reviewing meds I'm getting really stressed. I almost feel like I need to study everything over again. I'm glad my school uses ATI, but it's a constant reminder of the need to keep reviewing for the "big one"! So, I'm excited to have one semester left, but I'm almost wishing I had more time to prepare for what's coming up so quickly, weirdly enough.

Specializes in ED.

YAYYYYYYYYY ME TOO! I have finals next week and then 2 weeks off, this fall we take community theory, community clinical, community process, and our preceptorship (can't wait to find out where they stick me) then...Dec 14th! our ceremony is on the 19th, then I'm taking my family to Disney World for a week!

Me too! My pinning ceremony is Dec 19! Our last semester we have to take leadership, nursing research, preceptor clinical, and a lecture in the area our preceptorship is in.. So that means I have maternal-child lecture since my preceptorship is hopefully in L&D. What is this Suzanne's plan I keep reading about? I can use all the help I can get to prepare for boards!

Good Lord willing, I'll be graduating in December, also!:yelclap::yelclap: I just have to get through my final medication calculation test, my final skills checkoff, my final ATI, my preceptorship (in Mother/Baby:)), and Leadership and that will be it!!! And, yes, I have been studying for NCLEX throughout also. I have used been using Saunder's, NCLEX Made Incredibly Easy, and I just got Exam Cram.......

I graduated December 11th!!! I took Med Surg 4 and Peds. We have two mandatory review sessions that follow: The Eriworld and Sylvia Rayfield. Aside from that. I'm doing NCLEX questions from Mosby, Saunders, and Kaplan daily.
