Grades--what does your report card look like so far?

Specializes in LDRP.

I thought it would be fun for us to put what we think we will have at the end of the semester grade wise...seeing as we work so hard for those grades! We can come back and post how we did. I guess I am trying to think positively cuz I am so sick of school right now.

I am hoping for two A's and a B. I have one right now in OB (93%), and close to one in mental health (91%). I have a solid B in med/surg (89%). I don't think I can get that B up to an A! Ah, well.

It all depends on Finals now. I have a couple small tests, one which is open book, and they should help me, not hurt me.

I also have to finish up and pass MH clinical!!!!!! LOTS of paperwork... :smilecoffeeIlovecof

How are you guys pulling through?

Specializes in 5 yrs OR, ASU Pre-Op 2 yr. ER.

Mine looks just as i expected (i fished the semester early since my classes are self-paced), and just what i wanted.

Specializes in Neuro.

I'm on the quarter system, so I'm done! My final grades were posted yesterday and I got straight A's. :) Don't know if I can keep that up the rest of the year, but I am incredibly proud of myself right now.

Specializes in Ortho, Neuro, Detox, Tele.

I've got an A in English, an A in Theory(not by much), and an A in seminar as I just got a 96% on the big research paper for the semester.....

I'm sitting at a B right now, but have a test on Monday and a final on Dec 4th, so all that might change........:uhoh21: We'll see what happens then I guess. Good luck to everyone still in school.

Probably getting a B in Psych...I could prob get an A if I busted butt on the final but I am TOTALLY burnt at this point. Never before has a class ( or clinical I should say) sucked the life out of me. I loved psych immensely at first but 6weeks into it and I dread every clinical day left...which is a whopping 2.

I look forward to the 3 weeks off before Community starts...I dont care what the report card says anymore....lol

I'm with you on that--I absolutely hate my psych clinical. Funny I was a Psyche major in my early college years...now I remember why I didn't finish that degree. Ugh.:uhoh3: :uhoh21:

Specializes in Urgent Care.

That's how I feel about promotions ( OB, peds). I am taking it online and for some reason keep focusing on the wrong stuff for exams. I had an A at midterms but I can't see keeping it. I am hoping to keep my A in med surg though. Our clinicals are now pass/fail, so I am pretty confident there :)

Specializes in Pain Management.

We actually have a silly grading scale - 100-95 A, 94-93 A-, blah blah blah.

I would rather have slightly harder tests with 100-90 being an A. No plus or minus crap.

OK.....

Now fess up....

What are your studying secrets? How do you do it? Do you read every night? Do you tape lectures?

What?

If I got an A in a class, I may very well keel over from a heart attack! LOL!

At my fourth semester of an eight semester BSN program, I'm sitting at a 3.96 ("A" and "A-" grades). This was the semester that included Med/Surg and Pharmacology.

Next semester may be different, though. I understand the peds instructor never gives an "A."

I have been working full-time and taking a full-time load of classes. I am planning to drop to part-time next semester, since it will probably get a bit harder.

Specializes in med surg, school nursing.

Exam I - 86 (10% of grade)

Exam II - 88 (10% of grade)

Midterm - 90 (25% of grade)

Exam III - 92 (10% of grade)

Paper - haven't gotten it back yet (10%)

Midterm - will take on Dec. 16th. (35% of grade)

I am hoping for an A this semester!
