arjay_gimikero --- pls share some info on the TUA entrance exam? is it mainly on nursing knowledge or gen info? have you started ur classes for MAN? how is it? TIA :nurse:

sure thang!!! the only think is, im not so sure how to send those file using this site?? but yeah, most of them are in word format. there are couple of pdf file.. unfortunately, for ceu, feu and arellano, i went to the school so all ive got is the actual leaflets not a soft copy..

ei arjay, so how was it going? ur masteral study? im planning to take it also, so your attending your class only on weekends? thanks!!

I recommend UP open university if you have at least 1 year experience

hi guyz!! im a bsn grad of 2007 and msn of 2009, both in Concordia College, manila..i think msn would be better because it may easily be credited abroad.

i hope you try to inquire also at our school because its a trimester and offers msn major in 1. medical-surgical nursing, 2. maternal and child, 3. psychiatric and in 4. administration (hosp & academe). Our current dean is a sister of daughters of charty who was one of the pioneers of graduate shool in nursing program in UST. She is also an MSN becuase she graduated from the states and said that MAN and MSN also differs in salary because those who are science majors have higher salaries than those who have liberal arts because of their advance specialization in the science of nursing.

I am batch 2008 and currently taking up my Masters Degree major in Medical Surgical Nursing. I enrolled in Cebu Normal University. I noticed that schools are only offering MN and MAN or MN and MSN. MAN and MSN are just the same thats what my friends told me.

Is it really the same?

CAn you tell me the tuition fee and when will be the enrollment. I am also a batch 2008 but I did not start to make soem decisions about my career before but right now it think its about time for me to get moving... Do you mind to tell me if they are offering morning classes or how much the tuition fee will be? please please please what are the requirements too...

Hi can i ask about the Masteral in TUA, when is the next enrollment for MAN there? What is the Schedule of lecture? (Is it weekdays or weekend)? thanks a lot! God bless

Hi miaka_tamahome! It is nice to hear that you are interested to pursue your MAN degree at Trinity University of Asia. I am on my way to complete my 24 units this sem. Try to call TUA ( try to search their contact details thru the web). We only started 2 weeks ago for the second semester term. However, I am not sure if they are still accepting applicants up to this time. Classes are being conducted on a weekend basis however, there are also subjects being offered during weekdays, 6 pm to 9 pm. Alongside with my MAN program, I am also taking up Professional Teaching Program at UP-Open University while still awaiting for the hospitals to hire new nurses. Welcome aboard:yeah:

@manueldelrosario

Can you give more details or information about the Professional Teaching Program of UPOU? Im also interested in UP's Diploma in Health Professions Education. Ive emailed them but i have not yet receive any reply from them. Im thinking if this is also the program you're enrolled with. hope to hear from you

Hi Nurseharbee thanks for your inquiry. Alongside with my MAN program at Trinity, I decided to take up Professional Teaching Program ( Education Units) at UPOU. It is a 1 year program of study done through distance learning. After you pass the program, you are will be eligible to take the Licensure exam for Teachers. I decided to take this course due to the reason that it is really my passion to share knowledge :yeah: Aside from this reason, there might be a possibility that all teachers( including COLLEGE PROFESSORS) might be ask to have a license to teach and that is thru LET. Personally, I am gaining more knowledge by having this program. I think the Health Profession's Education is different from what I am taking up. To make it short, try to visit http://www.upou.edu.ph and inquire to them.

Please take note that they are very strict with the deadlines for enrollment. Try to also call them personally and inquire about the program you are interested to enter into. The registrars are very accommodating.

@shubichilipepper : I am currrently taking up my MAN program at Trinity University of Asia. Requirements can be seen through http://www.tua.edu.ph

@bettyboop09: I am not takign my MAN program at UPOU. I am taking up there Professional Teaching program ( Education Units) for me to become eligible to take the licensure exam for teachers
