  1. whoa! I heard the word "backer" again. what a nuisance term
  2. I recommend UP open university if you have at least 1 year experience
  3. I am attending the University of The Philippines open university. It is a good school, tuition is lower, and education is good.
  4. I really can't answer your question on what school you need to choose since I'm not from Davao. But for CVS, it took me about 5 months or so, since CGFNS will be the one to contact and pay your school, and PRC (Professional Regulations Commission) for the documents they'll be needing.
  5. to start of, NKTI is a great hospital. The facilities are great, the place is clean etc. well you get the idea. As for the training, I am not familiar with that. back in 2007, I was ready to pay for the 20+K just to get the 6months training. Looking back, I'm glad I did not. Lot's of y friends who underwent that program got nowhere to go from there. Well I think it depends on your performance. goodluck.
  6. waiting for the long que of hospital offering such "training" is frustrating. one of the founder of Ang Nars talked to us regarding paid training and she strongly condemned this act. She urged the nurses to stop applying on these programs to make the hospital realize the need for nurses. She added that if we continue to encourage shuch activity, the hopsital will rely on free nursing service plus they are the one getting paid. We asked her how are jobless nurses gonna face their daily financila needs, shich she answered by making yourselves like doctors who have their own clinic. I smirked at this idea. I mean, it is somewhat un-realizable. Let me give you the scenario: Outside your house you will post 'the nurse is IN', then patients will come in and you will be asking professional fee for your services like vaccinations, BP monitoring, etc. I asked myself, is this for real or what? Well you decide.
  7. hi agp_ph I'm sorry I can't yet send a PM so if you want to, you can pm me your email add, I'm online right now

  10. hi I passed the exam! wow! and also, my friend who took the exam 2 days before me and finished it with 77 questions with no alternative questions passed too. I guess it doesn't really matter if you have alternative questions or not.
  11. Oh my dear Lord. :omy:The same thing happened to me today. No alternate questions or what so ever. I got prioritizations, and I felt that I got a run down of everything there is. I stopped at 75 and my questions were pulled out from different categories. I am so stunned when it stopped at 75, after the computer stopped at 75 Ifelt so nauseated.:imbar Do you think I'll pass?
  12. thank you so much to both of you
  13. Hi to all :)! well I have two questions that I really hope somebody can help me with. 1st) do you have to renew your New York RN license? And if you do, how long will it be valid? I know that NY provides an online renewal license system, and I think that will be helpful if Nursing License needs to be renewed. 2nd) Does NY Board of Nursing provides a specific Request Form for a License Verification for a Visa Screen c/o CGFNS? I can't seem to find any info. Will I just make a letter and send it to the Board with the License Verification form of Visa Screen? A little help here please and thank you in advance. :loveya::redpinkhe
  14. so that was the adaptation that I was hearing about. ok, i get it now. judging by my experience and country of origin, looks like i really have to undergo such. thank you so much for your quick reply...:loveya::redpinkhe:up:
  15. I think NCLEX only applies to US but not Ireland, therefore NCLEX is not required for Ireland. What I'm trying to imply is; does Ireland administer such Nursing Qualifying Examinations for overseas nurses seeking registration under Ireland, or do they just conduct special assessment or some sort of your qualifications? Thanks guys for any replies:cool:
