Here is a place that we could start discussing the next part of our journey in nursing school.

Has anyone read the book they suggested in our acceptance letters? I bought it off amazon and I am excited to read it!!!

Congratulations to Everyone! This may be a silly question but does anyone know how to pay the $100 confirmation fee? I tried going into the SIS system but I cannot find it.

Thanks!

Never a silly question lol you pay it on any campus at student accounts. They will provide you with a receipt that you will include with your acceptance letter and photo.

So it doesn't have to be at the Clarkston campus? That is good to know! I may drive down there anyways though because I've never been:)

Nope it doesn't have to be paid at Clarkston :) I paid mine at Dunwoody bc that's the campus I take classes at. Yea def go. Good to see where you'll be spending the next two years :)

Thanks so much for answering our questions :) I currently don't have health insurance. Will we be required to have it for the program? I will be looking into Obama Care tomorrow but was just curious. Thanks

Clinicals from first semester are either thur/Fri or sat/sun from 7 to 3 every other week, with a total of ten days. Second semester it is once a week either thur, fri, sat or sun from 7a-7p.

As far as insurance goes I remember them offering something to us at the beginning of the first semester. I can't remember much about it because I have insurance of my own so I dont know the details but they will tell you about it! From what I remember it was a good deal

Thanks! I have a couple more questions regarding clincals. Do you get to choice the days your clinical days or are they assigned? Also, are they different options for locations, and if so do you get to choice your own site? Once you move to the second semester are clinicals held weekly?

Our class was the first one to be able to choose our site and sign up, previous years they assign you, they told us that second year we won't be able to do that because there is a different course facilitator for first year and second year so I'm not sure if they'll let yall do it or not. They have several different hospitals they use and the days just depend on who the instructor is. And yes second semester clinical is every week for I think its 10 weeks, one day a week.

Hi bridge36. What is the dosage calculation course id? Is this recommended to take prior to the 1st nursing course this fall? Thanks.
