GPC Fall 2013 letters

I can't believe it. I have read in the past I wouldn't hear until the end of March or April to know if I was accepted. To my very happy surprise, I got my letter in the mail today! Let the games begin.....anyone else here from GPC? Good luck to you all!

I have to accept my spot by March 30th. I just got my call from Clayton today for my interview!!! So if I don't hear about acceptance prior to 29th, Ill just accept my spot. At least its only $105.

They have to receive your acceptance paper and receipt for the $105 by the 30th so you may have to do it sooner.

I'm so happy for you, when did they schedule it for?

They haven't changed my status from pre nursing to nursing so I guess they aren't in any rush. And we do have 5 months before classes start... I am such a planner though, not a last minute kinda person. Guess that will have to change!

Thanks! I plan on going to drop it off in person which will guarentee receipt by the 30th. my interview is next Monday which im ok with! i can focus on my tests and project this week :-) yeah I dont think the nursing dept will do anything until after the 30th because i think thats the deadline for the second batch of applicants.

I hope you find out before the 30th then! I hate losing money on it but that's a chance I had to take. I don't think I'll hear anything from KSU until mid/late April.

You will not see the status change from pre nursing to nursing until like your 2nd semester. They change it in their system but on SIS they take forever. Honestly I don't even think mine change until my last semester.

I'm trying to order on Amazon the recommended book (Test Success - Test -Taking Techniques for Beginning Nursing Students, Patricia M Nugent and Barbara A Vitale) and I'm not sure which edition to buy. Could you please advise me?

I think that's about what I paid. It's worth it if you are the type who gets nervous with exams. Lots of information- some mundane and some very helpful.
