  1. I received my ATT a week after my school sent my transcript (everything else was completed)
  2. I just wanted to post encouragement to those who are scheduled to take the exam. I took exam last week and paid for quick results and I PASSED. BON updated site today and it is official! How did I prepare? I found NCLEX questions all over the internet and studied rationales. I DID NOT pay for any review classes. I did use Kaplan Qbank for 2 days prior to my exam. It was helpful. I highly recommend others to purchase it. I focused my studying on major stuff such as electrolyte lab values, ABGs, Common dx processes such as Diabetes, thyroid conditions, fractures, and common procedures. The test is on basic things a nurse will encounter and they want to see if you have minimum competency to perform as a RN safely. I would also suggest reviewing EKGs and legal issues in nursing :-) The hardest part is AFTER the examination (waiting for results). If you graduated from nursing school, you should pass NCLEX. Dont let your nerves get the best of you. You all CAN do it. I had the whole exam and not one time did I panic! After 75, I prayed for the computer to allow me to take the whole exam because I knew I would demonstrate competency! Keep the confidence and faith. Best wishes to you all!
  3. Took NCLEX this week and got 265?s. Found out today that I passed! Please dont let the amount of questions you get mess with your psyche. Just do your best. I finished in 3.5 hrs. My advice to anyone who is scheduled to take it...TAKE your TIME. I had over 2 hours remaining and I got 265. Could have took more time on the first 75...Good luck to everyone and NO i did NOT do the PVT.
  4. Sorry, I was referring to the other poster (PAUA) who created a group as well.
  5. Can you add the link to your group as I cannot find the group. Thanks!
  6. I interviewed at EUH and my status says what the above poster mentioned "offer accepted/declined etc lol, I interviewd on Tuesday and received offer on Friday AM from HR. HR advised that they were working on official offer letters and they should go out by the end of week hopefully. Just keep your ringer on!
  7. Anyone who has received an offer: Did they send you an offer letter upon verbal acceptance? I recvd an offer too from Univ Hosp for dialysis!
  8. Ohh ok maybe thats why you heard back so fast. I interviewed with MICU and SICU and they said they will send offers next week. Did you accept the offer
  9. Wow they are quick with the offers. To the person who was offered progressive care- what was your first choice? It is a group panel interview. Not sure which units you are interviewing with but critical care had about 6 candidates with 5 leaders/managers. We all sat a table with the leaders sitting across from us. They asked one question for each candidate and then they told us in detail about the residency program
  10. Thats great! I interviewed with critical care yesterday as well. Which session were you in? What unit offered you?
  11. well i hope you get in! Im in the nursing program now
  12. I think they care more about your pre req GPA. Focus on making all As if possible. That was my strategy because im not a good test taker. Ie person A has a 81 on TEAS but a 4.0 M/S GPA. Person B has a 90 TEAS and 3.3 M/S GPA. I'm almost positive that person A wins in that scenario
  13. Your stats seem pretty good to me. Good Teas score. Don't let them discourage you once you meet with your advisor. Apply and have faith that it will all work itself out. Good Luck!!!
  14. I took my pre-reqs at GPC and you are correct about form taking a semester to go thru BUT if you go down to the campus and explain your situation someone can help you. Mine was changed within 3 days because I told them it was urgent. and yes, I did it after the deadline. Good luck!
  15. Just touching base with everyone! Hopefully summer classes aren't too tough. Is there a facebook group for our class? Orientation is around the corner :-) see you soon.
