Wow what a difference a couple of weeks make. I was in tears and about crying a few weeks ago. Now, I got a job and on the verge of getting another one. I applied for at least 100 jobs, anywhere and everywhere. I got some interview and most of them said sorry you are not selected or sorry may be next time. Then finally I got a part time job in an Assisted living house, and the best thing is the job it 1 mile from my house. I also gave an interview last Monday. It went great. I felt so good about it. They took a computer exam, sorta like NCLEX but much easier, I got 34 out of 39. The interview went great. The Nurse manager finally called my Friday and said "How would you like to shadow one of my nurses?" I almost jumped out of my chair "Ofcourse" I said. I am going there on the 16th of this month. She said after shadowing if you like everything, I might offer you the job. My feeling is she is going to see and feel me, how I work. Its my dream job on a stroke unit. Please tell me what do you all think. Thank you.
