Hi everybody: THANKS GOD!!!! I also got my approval too!!!.

Unfortunately, I'm a little worried too, . 'cause I still don't have my VS. I already applied for it, just my TSE left. I'm taking TSE on May 14th, hope I'll make it.

Good luck with your English exams.............unfortunately you need those passed before you can get your VCS.

Tahnks to everyone!!! My great concern is TSE. Because, Although I have to take TOEFL again, because it expired,it wasn't a problem at all. But regarding TSE, I got only 45. Thus I'm studying with a native speaker now. I've made a lot of progress, but I'm still nervous. Too much pressure on me. I wish i'd rather new about approval after taking TSE.

A colleague told me that if by the time I have the Consulate interview I still don't have VS on hand, even if they already issued it, I could be rejected. That would be too much after all this time.

Anyway, I hope to succeed, i put all my effort on it.

thaks a lot.

If you have any problems with this TSE, please consider trying the IELTS series...........you actually have a human examiner in front of you instead of a tape recorder............many find it much easier to pass this way..........plus you also get your results faster..............

For the IELTS series, you need the Academic branch, as well as the speaking section............and it is 1/2 of the price of the TOEFL,TWE, and TSE combination. :)

Just discovered that my passport expires in April 2006 so now have to run around replacing my passport because I am sure I read somewhere when you get green card interview you passport has to have at least 8 months on it? As I do not know when I will get interview I supose I'd better be prepared.

Anyone know anything different!

you do need a minimum of 6 months at the embassy as the visa they put in it is a 6 month visa. once you are in the states you can travel with your green card and only need your uk passport for going back to the uk, or another country. just as easy to have a new passport that you dont have to worry about renewing for a while. enough to think about settling over here.

My new passport is now 10 years 9 months bargain. Apparently if you are renewing your passport and it has not expired then they give you up to 9 months with your new ten year one.

Feel chuffed :chuckle
