Good day to be a school nurse

So this morning one of my middle schoolers with a hx of Ewing's Sarcoma came bouncing into the clinic and told me that her scans came back clean and they took out her port! I had nothing to do with any of that, but it's nice to get some good news for a change... :)

I love it when kids think to update me on ongoing or chronic medical stuff that doesn't necessarily involve me.

A great kiddo who is a senior, got a concussion in Sept of freshman year. Just got the ALL CLEAR from MD. He no longer needs follow up!!! :D

As a VERY self driven student, stayed on track with school work (504 plan) and also has 2 great parents, an awesome guidance counselor and THIS school nurse/case manager!!!:nurse:
