Golden West College Spring 2020

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I was wondering if any pre-nursing students will be applying to the Golden West College ADN program this June for Spring 2020. If so, can you please share your experience as well as how many points you are applying with? Hope to hear from you. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I just want to ask if anyone knows whether or not they will contact the alternates once all the open spaces are filled? Or will they just keep us alternates waiting forever

they will contact alternates if accepted people decide to not accept the offer for conditional admittance but they will contact alternates with # first thennn they will contact the alternate pool if necessary.

Does anyone know how they’ll contact alternates if a spot becomes available? Is it through mail again?

Hi guys,

I got put in as the alternate #8, this is my first time applying and I don't know how this "alternate" thing works. Do I have a chance to get in? On the letter I received, they said they "put an average of 20 alternates in each class" in the past few semesters.

I think you have a pretty good chance friend! Unfortunately, we won’t hear about the other programs for a while so I’m sure if someone accepted GWC now, but decides to go to SAC then you’ll have a spot! My coworker said they called her TWO DAYS before the program started and she got in...it can happen guys!! Good luck @Quinn_Le

Hi! I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question for the alternate numbers in regards to hearing back from GWC yet. I was given an alternate number and haven’t heard anything.

So far this is the only program I have been chosen as an alternate. Good luck to everyone and those that got accepted ?
