Golden West College Spring 2020

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I was wondering if any pre-nursing students will be applying to the Golden West College ADN program this June for Spring 2020. If so, can you please share your experience as well as how many points you are applying with? Hope to hear from you. Thanks in advance.

@rjv I’ve also been given an alternate number and haven’t heard anything! What number are you?

I’m #4, I’ll definitely update if I hear anything. I would think maybe another few weeks when other schools start responding?

I’m #8, they wrote on my letter that for the previous semester, they usually “put 20 alternates in each classes,”. I talked to me nursing counselor and she said alternates have a really good chance to get in, I hope that would be the case for us.

@Codeine how do you know they will contact alternates late November? On my letter from GWC i was told to wait until January.

I was an alternate but i was higher up on the alternate # list && they contacted me around november.

Hi! I haven't received anything either. I did go to the nursing office this past Wednesday to see if I could get a specific date it would be sent, but the lady I talked to did not know. She just said to expect it in late October, so I am assuming we will get something next week as that is more "late October".

Alright good to hear! I thought we would have heard from them by now but I guess they really meant late October ?
