Golden West College ADN Fall 2021

Hi all! I wanted to start a new thread for those of us who are planning to apply for GWC ADN Program for Fall 2021. I thought we could post any questions, help, or updates. 

I will be applying with either 82 or 87 points depending on my TEAS score. Right now I'm hovering in the mid 80s for practice exams, but hoping I can still land in the 90s. 

It looks like last semester was really competitive so it's making me nervous. 

For the documents that were just sent….

By “we are requiring this document to be electronically completed” - do you guys think it’s to sign it on the computer, or do they want us to print, sign, save as PDF and upload?

I think the email is telling us to digitally sign and then upload via pdf and send it back to the nursing admissions email

I printed them out, signed them, scanned them and sent as a pdf , but I think  either way is fine!

I just opened them on Adobe PDF reader and filled out the boxes (it’s like an online form) and I used a saved signature with (electronically signed by name and date) next to it. I did save the file with my name in it.

did you guys see any parts to sign for the board of registered nursing document? Maybe I went too fast and didn’t see it….

Yeah I was wondering about that document too...maybe they forgot to attach the form for us to sign LOL

 

I’m sure if they needed us to sign something for that they’ll send it to us later

Just received the pre-enrollment criteria… I literally got my CPR card this month because I had to renew for work. The instruction states the card must be issued in July ?. I really don’t want to spent another $50+ on this….

Same!! I'm not sure why we have to get it again if it won't expire for 2 more years. The student participation form even states that it is our responsibility to renew it if it expires during the program.

That's a bummer. I just renewed mine in April. ?

Okay glad I’m not the only one ? still haven’t received anything which is so weird since the next application filling period is in a few days. Oh well... time to get ready to apply again LOL!

When you guys send in your signed orientation paperwork are you guys getting any confirmation that they received it? I've been sending in all the requirements but I get no response LOL just want to make sure I'm not the only one

I didn't receive a confirmation for the orientation paperwork.
