Golden West College ADN Fall 2021

Hi all! I wanted to start a new thread for those of us who are planning to apply for GWC ADN Program for Fall 2021. I thought we could post any questions, help, or updates. 

I will be applying with either 82 or 87 points depending on my TEAS score. Right now I'm hovering in the mid 80s for practice exams, but hoping I can still land in the 90s. 

It looks like last semester was really competitive so it's making me nervous.

Same here! I’ve sent almost everything and haven’t received any responses yet. I’m sure they’re just processing everything so I’m trying not to stress LOL

I actually didn't receive one email and almost missed the deadline for a required document. They sent me a reminder to make sure I send it in. So I would say if you guys didn't get any reminder or extra email then you're good.

Did you leave the “witness” signature blank ?
Also maybe someone should make a GWC fall 2021 facebook group . I’ve seen others make them LOL

For those with CPR cards already… are you still planning to redo it in July? Or should I send an email asking if they can do an exception?

I’m probably just going to redo it just bc my company offers free internal CPR renewals & my cert was issued in March, but if yours was issued super recently (ex June) I would ask for an exception!

Are you guys done the background check and drug screen? I am so nervous since I haven’t get my result back yet and the due date is this Friday?

When did you get the drug test done? It took about 2 days to post for me.

Mine was today(Wednesday) 

I got my first appointment last week but couldn’t find my registration number. Had a trouble with the paperwork. Hopefully it’ll show up on time ?
