Golden West College ADN Fall 2021

Hi all! I wanted to start a new thread for those of us who are planning to apply for GWC ADN Program for Fall 2021. I thought we could post any questions, help, or updates. 

I will be applying with either 82 or 87 points depending on my TEAS score. Right now I'm hovering in the mid 80s for practice exams, but hoping I can still land in the 90s. 

It looks like last semester was really competitive so it's making me nervous.

Yes, LACC. It's less than 10 minutes from where I live now.

Hi, has anyone received an email regarding the admissions MOU?

All I have gotten was the email regarding our glove size.

I've only received an email about the glove sizes. I've been so worried that I'll miss important emails or deadlines. ?

I talked with someone on the phone from the nursing department yesterday and they said they are still working on putting together that information. She mentioned that they expect pre-orientation to be on Monday August 9th, but that is a little strange since some students have received dates stating it’s August 8th or 19th. Hopefully they send out the rest of the information by the end of this week!

Is there anyone who wasn’t accepted and still haven’t received any sort of rejection letter? At this point I’m worried they never got my application, usually they send out the rejection letters with the acceptance letters. Receiving nothing feels worse than a rejection letter LOL!

Yeah, I haven’t received anything yet ? at this point I’m just focusing on the next upcoming nursing application cycle haha

I had 82 points if they counted my CNA license. I thought I’d at least get on the alternate list ?

Hi! I just wanted to ask, to whoever this may apply to, but did anyone who scored 85 points overall get accepted or even waitlisted?

So for those who haven't received any letters, it means they are rejected? Does anyone receive their rejection  letter?
