Golden West College ADN Fall 2021

Hi all! I wanted to start a new thread for those of us who are planning to apply for GWC ADN Program for Fall 2021. I thought we could post any questions, help, or updates. 

I will be applying with either 82 or 87 points depending on my TEAS score. Right now I'm hovering in the mid 80s for practice exams, but hoping I can still land in the 90s. 

It looks like last semester was really competitive so it's making me nervous. 

I’m confused…. Do you have an appointment today? …. And you took your drug test already but there were issues with the confirmation number? Sounds like they may not put in the correct number?
 

From what I recall, the phlebotomist input the code from the email and Goldenwest Complio showed up with my name. I signed up for Complio last Tuesday night, did a walk in for the drug test Wednesday around 2pm and my results for both posted to Complio by Friday at 3:30pm. 

If you already did this last week and it hasn’t posted, I would call in to the lab and see what may be causing the delay.

I just took mine today. Had my appointment  last week but they couldn’t verify my information so I went home. I should’ve tried the walk-in?

I’m trying to contact the nursing department. Hopefully they won’t kick me out?

AHH! I just got an offer from GWC for the 2021 Fall Cohort!

I'm literally crying. I made it ? They are still sending out acceptances!!

AHH ME TOO!! They called me right when I woke up, I’m so glad I didn’t ignore the phone call ? It doesn’t even feel real, like I’m in disbelief. I was going to apply again for the Spring semester today too ? I never received a rejection letter or a letter saying I’m an alternate.

OMG congrats! I still haven’t received any rejection letter or anything ? 

I applied with 82 points and I just sent in my application for Spring 2022

Yea , I never received a rejection letter . However , I was accepted to San Diego city college ??

Did they send you an email for your acceptance? or did you get a call as well?

Thank you!! ? I’m very eager to start this new chapter of my life, I’ve been out of school for a year now and I miss it LOL ? And I had 82 points. I took pharmacology there + the intro to nursing class and I got my CNA license last Summer (no work experience tho) which really helped boost my points.
