I am pacing around, having crazy dreams and can't focus on anything until I get my decision letter for Nursing School. The decision date is 1/15/07 but just realized that it is a Holiday so there will be no mail. Was hoping, it would come today but NO... I don't know if I should contact the school on Monday to see if anyone could let me know, or just wait and see. The thought of having to wait another couple of days is killing me.
My GPA is good 3.7, My NLN was good, 137 compositie score and 97th percentile. My meeting interview went great but still can't relax until I know for sure. How do you get through this anxiety? The closer it is getting, the harder it is.
Need advice on how to handle this without losing my mind.
I too know your pain. I have already waited 1 yr. for clinical rotation. I was waitlisted again this year. I started to take courses towards my BSN. Finally I received notice that I should attend orientation that I would be considered an alternate if others dropped or failed out. Whew. How nerve racking is that. Then I received notice I could register. Oops computer glitch. More nerves racked. Finally the school personally called me. They have opened another few seats and I am in. So this fall yippee I get to start really moving forward with my life. :)

Congrats! :balloons:
The waiting game gets old REALLY fast. It's been 5 weeks of waiting for me...feels like 5 months. I don't think I'll hear anything for another month at least.
I know this is an old post, but with the newer posts and people waiting I wanted to reply. :) I'm waiting now, too, and won't hear anything until mid-October. I'm trying not to get terribly nervous because otherwise it's going to be a very long 2+ months! I'm just trying to keep busy with the classes I'm taking and other things so hopefully the time won't seem to drag too much.
