Going CRAZY waiting for Decision Letter

I am pacing around, having crazy dreams and can't focus on anything until I get my decision letter for Nursing School. The decision date is 1/15/07 but just realized that it is a Holiday so there will be no mail. Was hoping, it would come today but NO... I don't know if I should contact the school on Monday to see if anyone could let me know, or just wait and see. The thought of having to wait another couple of days is killing me.

My GPA is good 3.7, My NLN was good, 137 compositie score and 97th percentile. My meeting interview went great but still can't relax until I know for sure. How do you get through this anxiety? The closer it is getting, the harder it is.

Need advice on how to handle this without losing my mind.

Have you heard anything yet? I still haven't, it's to the point where family and friends are calling, e-mailing, texting with "so, did you get in?" This is torture!!!

No, I still didn't hear anything. I am so wound up right now. I am also getting the phone calls from everyone asking if I got in. I called the school this morning to see if the letters were sent out and was told that they were in the process getting them together as we spoke. I hope they went out early enough to get here tomorrow but now I'm wondering if its going to be Thursday or even worse ---- Friday .

My thoughts are with you as well as we wait in agony.

I'll keep you posted also. Until then we'll keep our fingers crossed!! (And try not to stalk the mail man!) I called my school and asked about the letters and got the same reply "getting them together", I was secretly hoping they would tell me over the phone! Oh well, just a few more days and we'll know for sure!!! Talk about Butterflies in my stomach :uhoh21:

I got my acceptance letter today :monkeydance:

Can't tell you how happy I am (and relieved). This has been such a stressful time. I probably still won't be able to sleep tonight but at least now it's because of joy, not anxiety.

I hope you got the same good news.

Congratulations Cathy!!!!!

I'm so happy for you, that is wonderful!!!! You must be so excited and thrilled that the wait is finally over!!! Now begins the fun part, waiting until classes begin!!! Best of Luck in School :) I just checked my mail and still nothing, so hopefully tomorrow I'll get some good news also!!!
