Gloucester County College Nursing Fall 2011 Hopefuls?

Hi everyone!

Thought I could start this thread for anyone that is applying to the GCC Nursing Program this spring? I'm just getting my portfolio organized and prepared. I have to take the HESI one more time on Feb 24th and attend an info session on Feb 28th and I'm all set. I'm so nervous! But, I'm going to try to be optimistic. I look forward to hearing from you guys :) Take Care~

That Dr. office job sounds like a great experience!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!! It would obviously be a great idea to have some contacts in the field. I hope they will work with your appointments!! Good LUCK!! We can all use a little extra money these days!!

Thanks! Between the possibility of scholarships and that job, we could make a dent in the costs we're facing for nursing school!

I'm going to get an interview! I committed to working it for 6 to 8 weeks so I will talk with them. I don't know if that time will satisfy them even if they want me otherwise. But it's exciting to think I will finally get experience in the field!

Thanks, now I'm thinking that if I don't get this (or any other paid position) I need to definitely do work in the office of a doctor I know whether paid or not this summer. I had been thinking about trying that anyway. I just need to convince him to go for it! I have so much to do to prepare for this quickly!

I think someone else here had 915, but I don't know how that's possible with just one advisor?

My appointment is at 9:15 on Wednesday the 27th, maybe that's who you were thinking of?

You were! I went back to look and found it. Thanks for cluing me in though. Dannipoint and I were talking....100 people were supposed to be accepted? Are the appts every 15 minutes? How did they fit 100 appts into two days?
