Does anyone know of a reputable site where I can get all 30 hours of CE for my North Carolina license renewal?

Thanks for any help. 😊

There are many resources for CEs: specialty organizations, CEDirect, Medscape, RN.com, and many others. Some offer free CEs, others will charge. The number of CEs will likely vary based on the topic- and cost.

Ok, I will look into those.

I have visited several sites so far and they did not appear very professional-looking so I wanted to know which sites I could trust.

Have you used any of the sites you have listed for your CE's?

Thank you for your response. ☺

I primarily use CEDirect because my employer has an agreement with them and I don't have to pay a penny and AORN, the specialty organization for OR nurses.

Specializes in M/S, LTC, Corrections, PDN & drug rehab.

I use NetCE & haven't had a problem. I was even audited once by the TXBON & there was no issue.

My favorite is NetCE. Also have not had a problem with their certificates presented for an audit. Another that I used to think produced good printed reference material has been Western, but I have found their courses to be a little more pricey.

I've done probably 90% of my CE's on Medscape. They have a variety of stuff, and if you get on their email list you get a lot of interesting stuff - notices on new CE's, little medical challenge things (pt has such-and-such symptoms and you try to dx them), medical news/articles, etc. (And it's all free).

CEUFast. Annual fee is reasonable.

Specializes in critical care, ER,ICU, CVSURG, CCU.

Ce.elite has been good for me

Some of the Western Schools books have been good.

When I was a stay at home/ working PRN mom, I use to use myfreece.com. It was one price for as many CE as you wanted in the 12 month time. I would sign up the July before I was due to renew, do all 30 CE's between July and December. Then in February start on another 30 CE (between February and June) for the next renewal period. That way I got the most for my money.
