I will take mine 2 weeks from now, and I know (and share) how you must be feeling. As I advice myself, just keep on doing practice questions, learning the rationales, if I don't understand anything I look back on my sources, keep on praying, be confident, it's okay to feel low at times too, don't take scores personally, and be excited in taking and passing the NCLEX!
I totally understand where you are coming from as well. I to take my exam next week and I have so many emotions of excitement, fear, anxiety, etc.. But I know that will not help the situation much so keep the faith and be confident and I'm sure you will do well!!
I'm wishing all of you that are taking the exam soon all the best and soon we all will have that infamous R.N. behind our names!!
And I don't know why. I'm not usually an emotional person. But everytime I think about taking my nclex next week I get all teary. It has been such a long hard road for me to get to this point. Actually the only easy thing for me was the actual school part. I just cannot believe that hopefully next week at this time I will be a RN. So if you could spare some good thoughts, positive energy, prayers for me next Monday it would be greatly appreciated. I am forever grateful for the knowledge that I have gained from this site. Good luck to all the nclex takers. And congrats to all the new nurses!
All the best go kill that monster exam. cant wait to take mines
mmm i am astonished that you didn't use NCLEX 3500 .. it is a good q and a drill.. anyway goodluck in your exam.... just don't rush answering your questions... give your bestest shot on the first 10 questions coz' these are crucial numbers as the computer gauge your ability if you are really a safe nurse (these first 10 numbers set your initial standard )...... greetings from Hawaii ...aloha...
