Getting approved for LPN license with past DUI

Published

Hey everyone, I have a question I was hoping someone could help me with. I have recently passed my NCLEX and I am waiting to be issued a license #, I have a past DUI that I got about 6 years ago (stupid mistake) and the GA board said I have to wait for the board to review my record before my # can be issued or NOT. I wanted to see if anyone else has been threw this and if so how long did it take them to review your case? I just want some kind of rough estimate because I really need a job. Thanks in advance for the help.

I too am in a similar situation waiting for my license # and expecting my case to be reviewed. How long would this process take? Anyone with input please share.

I was denied for my rn in June hired the best lawyer in the state for $5000 and we are just now starting to get close to the end maybe another month. So yeah it's a super slow process!!!!

Took my test February 25 2013 got my license in July 2013. No probation or stipulations. Got my Dui Jan 2010 . Good luck

It has been about 4 months for me and still nothing from the BON, except I have not even been able to take NCLEX yet after graduating in May- I am in Ohio.

I'm in New York I have a felony conviction from 10 years ago. I was approved to sit for my Nclex took it Oct 22 passed now the board is reviewing my case they said they will have there decision by Monday Oct 28th. Got my fingers crossed and I'm praying hard. Ill update soon. God Bless and Good Luck to all of you.

It took me them about one month with my LPN license back in 2008 Mar-April. I just passed RN boards in May and I had my license in 2 days after the NCLEX.
