  1. The Wisconsin board of nursing publishes a chart yearly on nclex pass rates. Rasmusson in Green Bay had a 67% pass rate in 2013. That's one of the lowest in the state. Just saying...
  2. I don't know anything about Rasmussen but they have a very low nclex pass rate!! Better off going to a technical school where you get more hands on learning.
  3. My story is one of success. I was a wild child, my parents weren't around much so I made some very bad choices. I have a couple underage drinkings, 2 dwi's, disorderly conduct and when I was 18 I had a 17 year old girlfriend so a 4th degree sexual assault. I gave up drinking 3 years ago and gave my life to Jesus. I never had an issue getting into school or clinicals. I have worked in both of the major hospitals in my area, without a single question about my record. Anyways I graduated in may applied to take nclex and was denied!!! I was shocked!! So I got a really good lawyer, and filed an appeal and won!! I was hired in school at a major hospital and they were very understanding of my situation . I took nclex last week and past with 75 questions. So get a good lawyer it really helps!!!!
  4. I used both of those for my nclex and I had close to 30 sata I passed in 75 questions. I'm not sure if practicing the questions helped, but the way kaplan teaches you to answer sata really helped. But the main concept for sata is knowing your core content!!
  5. I used grn's method for nclex passed in 75 questions. You can't go with your gut feeling on the test, it will be wrong. Relax and don't make a big deal of the test.
  6. The test isn't like normal tests. It's not about scores, so try not to stress!!! Get the kaplan book, they teach you how to think through each question. Very helpful!!
  7. I averaged upper 70's on all of them. I learned more from the rationales then the questions. I also used Saunders. I would review the topic in hurst then Saunders then kaplan. But focus on the meds and topics from hurst, if you just use Saunders you will drown in information!!!!!
  8. I passed today with 75 questions in a little over a hour!! Yeah buddy!!!!
  9. I just passed today with 75 questions. I used hurst for content. Stick with their content!!! Then buy the $20 kaplan book. They teach you in the book how to take nclex and how to answer the questions. it was very helpful!!!
  10. Good luck! I have just been granted the ability to test from the Wisconsin board, granted I'm not a rn yet or a from a different state but I applied in may to test and was approved last week after my review and having to go to the board. Very frustrating.
  11. They may say they will take a written summery but that is not true! They want police records, court records any kind of papers that apply to the charge. They want to see that you have changed include something about how different you are now.
  12. You were able to get your license while you are on probation and you were charged with a felony??? I would consider yourself very lucky and grateful to be licensed. I was denied and I was never charged with a felony!!! What state do you live in??
  13. I failed two classes and still graduated with a 3.0 and landed a job before I graduated. And now im working towards my bachelors. Keep your head up, keep working hard and you will get there!
  14. Save some money for a good lawyer! Makes things move alot faster and more positive for you.
  15. I was denied for my rn in June hired the best lawyer in the state for $5000 and we are just now starting to get close to the end maybe another month. So yeah it's a super slow process!!!!
