I'm taking this course starting August 26th, anyone with me?
I struggled with this paper. To keep the wording down (on the literature review) I briefly wrote about the 5 articles and then summarized how they applied to QAPI. Mine came to exactly 5 typed pages not including title page and references. Did you cite QAPI? If so, how did you do it?
OH C#*P, I forgot that. I guess since it was 2am, my brain was fried. Point deduction coming my way...
Yes I am certain you should cite it., how?...hmmm: I'm pretty sure Centers for Medicare and Medicaid was the author, see if you can find it on their web site. cite OU as the retrieved from. That's how I would do it.
Any one else have ideas?
Nope, they were like 1 small sentence quotes 7-10 words. I'm not going to make waves for 1 point. Her comments were extremely complimentary on the post, it was just that one thing she took off on, so I will see how it goes. From what I heard questioning everything will just make them grade it harder
I got the same comment about not using direct quotes. I am as shocked as you! However, she did not take off any points and told me this for future postings. I wish I would have known before I submitted my paper. I will probably get dinged. Although, I have read in previous class announcements that direct quotes should be used very rarely. (just never saw it enforced)
