Can anyone who has been admitted to the nursing program at Ga State tell me how long after the application cut-off date did you learn whether or not you were admitted to the program? Also, did you receive a letter or were you able to view it through the GA State system? Thanks for any help you can give.
hi,
i have a general gsu admissions question. i am currently at gpc and i still need to take a few more classes to apply for the ace (accelerated) program. i still need hhs 3000, [color=#993300] nurs 2010, anatomy ii, abnormal psych, human communications, micro and chem ii. i want to apply for the 2010 fall program so should i submit my application this coming fall (fall of 09). and would this schedule below work, because from what i understand you have to have all the courses finished before you start the program and i'd be finishing up in the summer right before the program starts.
i plan to do/take:
this summer 09: chem ii and lab
fall 09: anatomy ii, human communications
*submit application to gsu and for nursing program
spring '10: micro, [color=#993300] nurs 2010, hhs 3000
summer '10: abnormal psych
fall '10: start nursing program (hopefully)
thanks
has anyone taken abnormal psych at gpc and got it to transfer over to gsu because it is listed as general credit over there but it is says transferable on the gpc site.
I am planning on submitting my application in a few months for spring semester '10 so I can complete micro, Nurs 2010 and the HHS class at georgia state and so that my nursing application can be processed. Since the admission deadline for fall semester '10 is march 1 (of next year), I believe I am okay as far as deadlines are concerned.
good morning. if you plan on switch in to gsu for the spring 2010 to take those classes make sure you apply to the regular university first. you can apply now or in the summer for spring 2010 admission. take those classes that you need to take at gsu. you can apply anytime before march 2010 for the fall 2010 nursing program. you might want to apply a little early if you have a high gpa and net score. i'm sure you won't have to wait for an acceptance letter. if you want to work on your gpa or net score apply a little closer to the deadline. you want your best grades and net score to be reviewed.
good luck!!
congrats!! i'm so happy for you. this process is so stressful!! i pray i get in somewhere this fall or spring.

I bought the small study guide they have on the test website. I worked alot of review math problems because I thought that was where I could control may results better. I guess that worked because I made a 100 on the math section. I think the reading section was kinda difficult. I have always done very well on standardized reading tests in the past and I found this one pretty hard. Also, you can go to a local bookstore and get another review book if u dont want to wait on one from the ERI people. Hope this helps and good luck.
