Georgia Highlands College Spring 2011

Hello! I am an applicant for the nursing program at Georgia Highlands College for Spring 2011. I was just wondering if there was anyone else on here that is hoping to be accepted to the college as well. Does anyone know the typical schedule, cost, etc.? What were the average scores on the nursing worksheets that were accepted last spring and for this coming Fall 2010 semester?

Mail just ran. I got in!!!!!!!!!!! I am in shock. I had really set myself up for rejection today. Now to tackle this packet of papers that came with the letter!

Congrats to all of you that made the cut for Georgia Highlands. I also applied for Spring 2011 but I just recieved my rejection letter. I currently go to Kennesaw State and I just finished all my pre-req. (A&p 2, and microbiology) this past summer. I knew it was hopeless to attempt to get in at KSU (my friend was rejected with a 3.8 GPA and high TEAS score this past fall.) Im just wondering what the other options are around here that yall know of?

I got in! I was getting worried and even paid 100 to ga perimeter when I got into their program just incase. Highlands is my choice between the two and I'm super excited to start classes!! Goodluck to everyone!

Congrats to everyone who got in! I'm finishing up my first semester, but I'm in the Marietta program, so I won't see you guys when you join up with the class in Rome for 2nd year...see you at graduation though!! :)

Well, I got my acceptance letter today. I'm a happy camper and will sleep well tonight.

The lowest score to get in the program for Spring 2011 was above 1000 on the nursing worksheet.

How many on here got in, and have never attended any Georgia Highlands Campus? Dare I ask? And are you aware of what that accelerated schedule means as far as time on campus etc?

Does the Marietta program share any faculty with the Floyd Program? Just sort of curious.

A little bit, mostly in our online content, but some of the Rome professors have come to our campus to deliver certain lectures in their areas of specialty, and it is my understanding that our professors have done the same in the past.
