Georgia Highlands College Spring 2011

Hello! I am an applicant for the nursing program at Georgia Highlands College for Spring 2011. I was just wondering if there was anyone else on here that is hoping to be accepted to the college as well. Does anyone know the typical schedule, cost, etc.? What were the average scores on the nursing worksheets that were accepted last spring and for this coming Fall 2010 semester?

Hey everyone,

I've also applied for January. I'm very nervous/anxious also. I've heard that the summer will be very hard but i'm sure it will be worth it. Everyday i get a little more anxious. lol

Hopefully we'll all get in and just look back laughing on this period in a few weeks!

Hey! I have applied for Start date Jan 2011. I was told that I should recieve a letter the 1st week of November. The suspense is Killing me!!!

Hey guys! I applied for Spring 2011 also. I can't wait to hear from GHC! Will you guys let me know when you hear something? I will be out of town the first two weeks of November...but, if I know you all have heard, I can have my roommate open my mail for me =).

I got a call from the school today. They wanted to congratulate me! I've been accepted but i hadn't received a letter yet. She said that the letters have been sent out and was surprised that i hadn't received mine yet.

congrats to everyone who got in.

Tfhorne - what was your admission score do you know? I spoke with the admissions rep today (by email) and she said they are hoping to have all letters mailed out by Nov. 3rd.

Hey everyone, Just wanted to join the waiting game. Halloween weekend will be unbearable if I am still waiting for a letter! Has anyone else already recieved any news?

Well, I'm still waiting, too. I just got off the phone with one of the staff and I double checked to make sure that they hadn't sent out letters. She mentioned that they had not and that they would be sent out next week. So, don't lose hope yet, we're all still in the running! I wish you all the best of luck! And still... prayers welcome :)

goodness, it makes me more nervous to know that someone has been called to be congratulated and i haven't heard a thing. i am glad i am not alone. tfhorne, do you remember what your score was or an estimate? gosh, i am have a tough time being patient. good luck to all who are still waiting, i am sure we will all get there one way or another :)

Hey guys....we are almost there! One of my coworkers has been telling me about West Central Technical College. She said that their deadline had not approached yet to begin classes in the Spring. I was just wondering if any of you had heard of it. I know we are still waiting to hear from GHC, I guess I am just anxious and always thinking of a backup plan. Good luck to all of you...still keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

Okay, West Central Tech is a branch-off (I believe) with West Georgia. From what I hear, it's an awesome school. There is a campus near me, however, I'm looking to live with my parents (humility) to save money and the drive would be too far. But I have heard it's great!

Please understand I don't mean any disrespect but, I have inquired about your call prior to letters being sent out and the comment that the school "was surprised" that you haven't gotten yours.... ALL LETTERS are to go out on November 3, 2010-- we do not notify applicants with a phone call... this is the fact I was given so I am not quite sure why out of all of these applicants you would be the only one called... they don't inform anyone by calling them and why should your letter have already reached you when none of them have been sent out.... I don't understand this at all and I think you should enlighten us and explain..... We are all in this for the same goal and we are all very tense, stressed and anxious......
