Hello everyone. I just applied for admissions for the fall 2011 program a couple weeks ago.
Has anyone esle applied as well? If so what is your GPA and ACT score if you don't mind me asking.
My gpa is a 3.0, or higher because I have grades that have not posted, and I took the ACT over 13 years ago with a score of 18.
Thanks
on the letter it says to get a 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 passport photo, a passport photo is 2x2 everywhere I checked. Does anyone know if a 2 x2 is ok?
Don't know about the picture size. I just had a tooth pulled yesterday and I am not thrilled about having to take a picture while looking like a chipmunk! I started my bakground check and drug test... it is $78.50 for both thru advantagestudents.com. I also registered thru the American Heart Association's web site for the CPR class. And books... OMG!
I have been pricing them online and it is going to be close to $600.
How is everyone else coming with their "to do list"?
@ I Run 4 Fun, I'm looking at the website you mentioned and GHC is not listed on the drop down menu, do we just pick any other one option? And where are you looking at the books' prices? Hope I'm not asking too many questions :uhoh21:
As as as the picture goes, I already sent my response with a regular passport picture, it should be fine since they stated it needed to be a "passport picture", and the size its the same everywhere.

I was looking on the Advantages Students website and I did not see Georgia Highlands Either.
CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO GOT IN!!!!!
There was sheet in the package titled "Procedure for Required Background Check..." down on the very bottom it gives a process the student must follow when obtaining a background check - item 3 said to select Other schools/hospitals (if using advantagestudents.com). That's what I put.
As for the books... I went to the campus bookstore and looked under Nurs 1101. There is a list of 14 (?) required books and 5 optional books. It didn't list the ISBN numbers but I wrote down all the titles/author/edition and put the info into Amazon until I found the right textbook. (the bookstore does show the book cover so that helped!) Amazon is usually cheaper so I am going that route for books.
That's my two cents for tonight... now I am off to celebrate with the hubby and kids!
