Thanks Fawn911. I wasn't sure if GOD heard me anymore. I guess he still did. I mean, it was becoming ridiculous. it was going on like 7 yrs! haha..but thanks so much! Now I just need to figure out everything that I need to do. Atleast I don't have to retake the TEAS. I had to take that b4 I got accepted. I HATE that test. but good luck and I will check back on here and keep tabs on you guys. :)

I'm in Rome. Anyone know of a store (here or w/in an hour drive) that sells stethescopes? I want a good selection to choose from.

In the packet they gave us, they suggested Lynns Uniform Shop, and I heard they sell stethoscopes. I purchased mine online through allheart.com

I was going to say allheart.com too. I think that website is awesome. I want the one that you can get ur name engraved into. I have heard that its really common for stethoscopes to get stolen in nursing school. Also, I live next the the north ga premium outlets and I think there is a scrub store and they sell really scrubs for a great price. I know that is SO far from Rome but just thought I would mention it. You never know, next time you go to the outlets to shop just remember its there. (I grew up in Kennesaw and used to drive up to the outlets for the awesome deals) but anyways..are you guys as excited as me? it hasn't even really set in yet! yay!! we will be nurses in 2012!!

Anyone going to the orientation @ the marietta campus on thursday june 24th? This is not for the nursing program just for newly entering students @ GHC.

I just thought it would be a nice chance to meet some of you all there if so.

Nope, I'm attending the one in Cartersville on July 1...

Also heard from a nurse I work with who is in the LPN bridge program that we will hear more about Wellstar Scholars July 29 at the Keys to Success workshop...so basically we won't know which campus we're attending until like a week before classes start. Coworkers who just graduated from GHC confirmed - great program, terrible communication.

I was wondering if anyone was still interested in car pooling to the keys to success workshop next week. Also if any one is up to it, we could meet up for breakfast to get to know each other. Just an idea, let me know if anyone is interested.
