George Washington Hospital New Grads...?

Published

GWU has no info on their new grad program on their page (I'm not even sure if they have one). I tried contacting the nurse recruitment, but haven't heard anything back. Does anyone have any info on them, or an alternate contact? Thanks.

has anyone who applied for the internship at GWUH been reconsidered for it?? I recieved an email today from the NR (a month later from the rejection email that all the positions were filled which i got a

month later from when i sent in my resume/references) that if I was still interested to contact her. what is that all about??? and wondering if it would still be in the ICU?? (probably not) any thoughts??

you're not the only one.

did anyone call and see what position it was for?

has anyone seen any information on benefits offered by GWUH? I seem to think I saw some information online about it earlier this year, but now I can't find it? Is there anything about their benefits in Cyberspace?

Specializes in Surgical, Community Health.

They have positions available in MS, ER, ICU, at least of last week. It is for their summer internship which starts mid-August.

hey hopeful grad - how do you know those positions are still open? When I check the employment status, it only says "Applications no longer being accepted." How do you know they're still open?

Thanks!

MaleNurz- I have been in contact with the NR. I would give Yomi Lawal the nurse recruiter a call if you are still interested in a position and she should be able to help. Send her an email and include your most recent resume and transcript just so your file is up to date. Here is her info.

Now, has anyone actually spoken to Yomi? Is it in actuallity a man?

PS- I got the email too... so it must be a mass email.

She is a woman.

Specializes in Anesthesia.

Has anyone heard ANYTHING back yet?:o

So many people waiting to hear from this hospital...and so little time before the job starts!

You email, you call and yet nothing. I feel like at least we should get a mass email like "No thanks, try again somewhere else" instead of this limbo they have us in.

Since I've taken the NCB test I've heard nothing despite leaving phone messages and sending emails. Maybe they should hire more than one person to do this job cause it seems like she's overwhelmed.
