I just submitted a Fall 2017 application for the ABSN program at George Washington University. I thought I'd start a thread so we can share some experiences, pieces of advice, and whatnot.

Hello All. Congrats on your acceptances. Ryan624, after the preliminary review email, when did you get the second email about your app being sent to the admissions committee for final review and to get accepted? Sjos how about You? When did you get the first email about your app being complete before you got the second email? Sorry Guys I Just wanna get some idea of how long the whole process takes. I applied for both summer and fall 2017 on Jan 26. I already got the email saying the preliminary review is complete on Feb 21 but i didn't get the second email yet about being sent for final review. Thank You All.

I got an email for preliminary Review on 2/10 and then on 2/13 they said it was complete and had been referred to the admissions committee for final review. I got my final decision on 2/28 via email!

Decisions are coming out tomorrow as well according to Britny in Admissions. Good luck.

Thanks For the info. Did you call to ask or how did you know? anyways i didnt get the email yet saying it has been sent for final review. I dont know tomorrow's thing is gonna affect me anyways but we will see.

I wrote to Admissions and found out tomorrow there will be a set of decisions for those who have been sent on for final review. Have you applied to any other programs? I am also waiting to hear about Georgetown's program. Good luck.

Hi Amanda520, congrats on your acceptance. When did you apply? And when did it go to admissions for final review and did you hear today? Is it for fall 2017, summer 2017 or both? Sorry about the confusion. Thank you.
